Meet Your Instructors:
Bill Carter
Hi – I’m Bill Carter. I help universities, student-athletes, brands, sports organizations, and professional service providers to learn, adapt, and capitalize on NIL.
I founded and spent two decades building one of the most successful sports agencies with clients that included Pepsi, Gatorade, Amazon, and TikTok. Then in 2019, I sold my stake in that agency so that I could use my athlete and brand marketing expertise to build an NIL education and consulting practice. To launch Student-Athlete Insights, I created the NIL Research Poll. Today, I survey 5,000 college student-athletes and 1,000 high school prospects every month. The Poll is the preeminent source of data on the NIL experience of student-athletes.
In addition to working with Disrupt U, I teach NIL at the University of Vermont’s business school and write NIL Corner, a monthly column for Sports Business Journal.
